Thank you so much for posting the two-lav solution! For any of these mics, you still need an adapter to work with your iOS device! From looking it up briefly on the net it seems to have a 1Kohm rating, which I suspect could be the problem from what you've said above, but I don't know enough about it. Thanks, George.
